Home Energy Group ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains, in plain language, what information this website actually collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
When you submit a contact or Free Second Opinion form, we collect what you type: your name, phone number, email address, a description of what you need, and — on the second-opinion form — any quote or proposal files you choose to upload. Your submission is transmitted securely to the form-delivery system run by our website provider and delivered to our office so a member of our team can respond and schedule your service. Calling or emailing us works the same way: we keep the details you share so we can help you.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your request, schedule and perform service, communicate with you about your project, and keep our own business records. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not provide it to outside third parties for mass email marketing.
Cookies and your consent choices
This site uses a cookie consent banner. Optional cookies are off by default — nothing beyond what is strictly necessary is stored until you choose. Analytics and advertising
We use Google Tag Manager to load measurement tools, and through it Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site, and Google Ads conversion tracking to measure which ads lead to enquiries. We also use call tracking, which may display a different phone number to you and record which page or campaign your call came from.
These tools load only if you accept analytics or advertising cookies in the consent banner. Until you choose, they are held in a denied state by Google Consent Mode, and we honour your browser's Global Privacy Control signal as a rejection. Your Privacy Choices — Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we never have. We do not trade, rent, or exchange it for money.
Some privacy laws — including Oregon's Consumer Privacy Act — treat the use of advertising cookies for targeted advertising as "sharing", even when no money changes hands. You can opt out of that at any time, and it takes effect immediately:
- Open the consent banner and choose Reject optional or Manage preferences, and turn off advertising cookies. Rejecting is exactly as easy as accepting — one click, same prominence.
- Or turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser. We treat it as an automatic opt-out with no further action needed from you.

Local weather on our homepage
Our homepage shows current Brush Prairie weather fetched by your browser from Open-Meteo, a weather data service. The request contains only our office's coordinates — not your location — and we send no personal information with it. Like any web request, your browser contacts that service directly.
Fonts and third-party services
The fonts on this site are served from our own website, so viewing pages here does not send requests to third-party font services. Our forms may be protected by Google reCAPTCHA to block spam; when reCAPTCHA is active, a notice appears near the form and the Google Privacy Policy applies to it.
Payments and financing
We do not collect payments or payment card information through this website. Payment for service is handled directly with our office, and any card payment is processed by our payment processor — card numbers are never entered on or stored by this site. If you apply for financing through Synchrony, the application happens on Synchrony's own website and is governed by Synchrony's privacy policy, not this one.
Links to other websites
This site links to outside websites — for example Synchrony financing, our Google Business profile, and our review-collection page. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites; we encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site that collects your information.
Sharing and disclosure
We share personal information with the service providers who operate this website and deliver form submissions to us, and with the measurement providers described above — Google (Tag Manager, Analytics 4, Ads) and our call-tracking provider. We do not sell it. We may disclose information when required by law or when we believe in good faith it is necessary to comply with legal process, protect our rights or property, or protect the safety of others.
Security and retention
We use industry-standard practices, including HTTPS encryption, to protect information in transit, and we limit access to personal information to the people who need it to serve you. We keep lead and customer information for as long as needed to provide our services and maintain our business records. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — just contact us using the details below. This website does not collect health information, so Washington's My Health My Data Act does not apply to data collected here. This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change, we will update this page and its effective date. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
